The Universo do Café Distribuição de Café Lda was born in OPorto in 1998. It was founded by Pedro Brito, who has been concerned with creating a unique company from the first moment onwards. Unique in the solid way it has been growing, in the relationship established with clients and partners unique as well in its honesty and exactness.
A company, where workers have fun.

With its offices located in the center of Porto, the company first started to distribute coffee in the neighboring and closest areas, reaching the North of Portugal some time later. Later, the Islands of the Azores and Madeira were reached, and the Algarve.

Meanwhile, the goal to reach the Spanish market was achieved. Madrid was the first spot, then the expansion spread throughout Galicia and also the Balearic Islands.

The sale of coffee to Cape Verde has become part of the company's growth.
As the desire to keep on growing in a sustained way has not stopped, the company soon became an exporting company of cups to Italy and Germany. From Italy the cups travel to all over the world.

When people of our country gather to halt the advance of the Asian invasion, the company began exporting coffee to China.

With all this reference work the company has been asked to export various products to Africa – something which has earned our interest and helped boost our export vocation.
